Question: Where does "composting" fit in the CG definition.. is composting a submset of CG?

I didn't know you were into gardening…

I don't think compositing has to involve CG and live action - combining (for example) a digital matte painting, CG character and CG fire still involves taking multiple elements and making them into one image.
