In our troubled times of unemployment and corporate outsourcing we have seen the devastating effects in industrial towns all over the world. The documentary “After the Factory,” is based in Detroit, Michigan and Lodz, Poland, and gives insight to their different yet very similar backgrounds.
“After the Factory,” goes beyond the usual representation of homelessness, poverty, and crime in these “fallen cities.” Its point of focus is the recovery of these two cities and how their communities are tackling these problems and making a difference.
This documentary will be shown at this years Global Peace Film Festival in the Orlando area, the show times are:
