I'm interested in mass producing an affordable camera rig that separates your hands from the camera to eliminate camera shake caused by the hands. I'm looking to sell them (assuming I can get this thing off the ground) at a price of $35. I have in fact built one to give people an idea of what I wanted to do:
Of course the final build quality will be a lot better and I'm looking into the idea of creating mounts for the control of a focus ring or a shotgun microphone. And then there's the idea of being able to build your own camera rig using parts that snap together, maybe there could be a few different designs that you can make to your liking? Anyway, this is a really early phase at the moment and if it was to take off, I'd probably start up a kickstarter so people can get one and stuff. Any ideas or comments on whether this would be something people would want, would be awesome.
