AE slow motion

hey,, could you please tell me how to make a clip look nice and smooth in adobe After Effects?

I know about putting the shutter speed right up for a crisp frame (my camera doesn't have a manual frame rate setting) i believe the thing im looking for is: interpolation ? if that means anything??

You can't do it in AE without a plugin. The most common one is Twixtor.

The option you're looking for is called Frame Blending in after effects..

And basically all the information you need available from the help menu within the program.


Be aware though, you can only push it so far before it starts to look like crap without additional plugins

Use Time Remapping and turn off Frame Blending.
