The Project:
A 4 day road trip documenting a band.
Shots would include club shots, low light, nudity, drunkeness, tour bus and mayhem.
It's a one man production, sound, edit, filming, etc. It needs to be fast and show a decent level of quality.
Priorities in order:
Speed to clear shot (auto focus?) (image stabilization?)
Better than most on board sound option
Low light
Wide angle
Size/descreet
Memory cards
Beauty of image (dof)
I have shot a lot with my t3i, and very similar projects.. I love it for the work, but pulling focus and fstop is a little tricky to do fast and on the complete run.
Can you guys suggest a camera that would be faster from the 'lap to the shot' with good low light capabilities. ..and decent sound? Hahha.
I plan on renting, if you guys have a rental place in mind too it will be helpful.
