I stumbled across this:

It's a collage-film that will be edited by Erik C. Andersen (did Four Rooms and Broken Arrow apparently) that they're making into a feature selected from submissions. Looks like they want a "reflection of the times we live in" style of footage.. from viral vids-style, docs, cinematography, music, opinions, youtube-style stuff... probably not so good for narratives, but might be interesting to some of you out there. I know I'm thinking about it myself, anyway!
I remember there used to be a lot of talk from time to time here about making a film over the internet combining resources, but it always fell apart when the time came for someone to "take the lead"... this looks like this is an interesting attempt to use the decentralization of the internet, consolidated by a team in something similar to that vein, so even if not submitting, it might be interesting to see what happens to this project.
