50 Years of Wilhelm Screams

If I do any of your movies I'm definitely putting it in. It's a tradition.

Don't you mean "when"?

"A Slow Death" (the next Cracker Funk feature) has many death-scenes, including a 2-3 minute montage of death, to open the movie. Don't worry, it's a feel-good comedy, I swear. :) Also, about halfway through the movie there is to be a violent car crash, with a lone male driver. Many opportunities for the Wilhelm scream.

Yeah, yeah, I get the joke; can we move on now?

It's gotten to the point where the Wilhelm Scream can pull your audience out of the film unless you are doing a comedy. So if you use it it had better be mangled and buried.

That's a very select audience. I believe it flies over the head of 99.99999% of general audiences. And it's pretty new to me. I still get a giggle when I hear it.
