3D film for concert pianist

First let me say that I love Debussy, and this would be a great project to work on.

But what is your budget? I can produce work like this, but it's very expensive. Working with many content projects the biggest problem I encounter is that clients are not aware of what standard production costs are. Clients constantly drop 5-10-20k projects in my lap, and ask whether it will cost 200 or 300 dollars.

Assure me that you are serious, and I'll write you up a quote and send it. (for frame of reference, "will you do a 10k job for me for nothing+exposure" is not a serious offer)

Renting a second camera and 3d rigging alone would cost at least 2500 a day. Do you require 3d CGI intros, credits? Is your stage well lit already? Will you pay transportation costs? What is your target quality, television, film, local broadcast?

I'll assume that means you don't have serious funding available. You know, you probably shouldn't withdraw your offer based on one forum response. Their are a lot of people that might do this for you for very little money, I was just outlining my situation, which is one of high personal overhead, multiperson crews, plane tickets to England, and a quarter million dollar 3d camera rig that I have to rent for a week.

Phil UK might be able to pull this off with a couple 5d's for a few grand. He's a UK local, so you might want to try contacting him before fleeing the forum. As far as theater SBS encoding for passive glasses, I'm not sure what the software suites are available for your final conversion. That may be expensive in itself.

Not trying to scare you off, just warning you about the expense of making a half hour 3d film. 10 grand would be considered dirt cheap in the industry.
