30 Second Competition Short

So Sprint is having a competition for a 30 second short. Winner gets $25,000 and the rules are it has to be a maximum of 3 people in the short, for a max of 30 seconds, and it has to be under the theme of EPIC.

I'm trying to think of something that shouldn't be epic but I could make epic (eg. making a sandwhich).
Anyone got anything interesting?

A flashback to the epic nature of the first time you 3-way called someone.....or am I too old. Remember,"Hold on dude, I'm gonna three-way that son-of-a-bitch. You just listen in." :) EPIC And its telephone!!!

Then you hit em with the "we've come a long way" thing and show 2 chicks standing next to each other reading the "guy-in-trouble's" text. then one chick says to the other"See?? I told you he was lieing." .......1 miilion in the pocket my friend. :)

I like that style! I've never owned a cell phone though as shocking as that may seem, so I might be lacking some of the detail a fellow cell phone owner might have in making that.

I think I'm gonna write that one down though :)

I was also thinking EPIC MORNING PISS, I think imagination can follow you through on that one, but in the end that has nothing to do with the cell phone that I'm supposed to advertise.

A video about an Epic Kiss with a girl that you accidentally met because you accidentally picked up her phone thinking it was hers. The kiss of course will be at their wedding and possibly shot on an EPIC phone - or even being played on an EPIC phone while on their honeymoon.

Before I ever dreamed of making movies, I used to stage some majorly epic battles between my entire cast of action-figures. Now, I know that you're older than that, but you've got a youthful look, and Hollywood always casts children that are way older than the part they play. You could pass for somebody with a vivid imagination, who creates these massive, epic battles with his toys/action-figures.

The beginning of "Toy Story 3" -- it's hilarious because it rings true -- we all did that. Can you do a live-action version, while adding your own unique sense of humor?

Could advance this idea on to a time in the future, where mobiles project holograms of the people you are talking to. You can 3 way call and see holograms of the 2 people are you talking to.

WELL, At start of the short, we see the words 'Welcome to the FUTURE' and then 'Maybe the guy is pissing and gets a 3-way call' but the other people are shown as HOLOGRAMS :cool: , But the holograms are able to interact as though they are actually there with you! :lol: standing next to you as full size holograms 1.7m tall, almost real.

Ideas

1. 'Is your mobile your best friend?':yes:
At start of short we see this message above, then we see a guy talking to a ferry/creature that he is hallucinating (He is hallucinating that the mobile is a creature and that this creature is his best friend). Next we see that the mobile 3 ways to his friend and his boss. He talks to the 'creature' but is actually talking to his boss and friend/wife and the boss is not impressed as the boss realizes that the guy is obviously hallucinating and in the phone call some weird revelations come out.
Optionally could continue: Next we see the guy is fired. Then he goes to court and he claims he was hallucinating due to his diabetes. The guy wins. On the way out, the security has his mobile (wasn't allowed to take it into the court room) and the mobile comes to life and jumps up out of the pile of mobiles at the security desk and it jumps into the hands of the guy. The boss sees this and the boss thinks he must be going crazy due to having lost 100k in court.

2. Alien Abduction (3 humans and 2 aliens(Aliens are not people so technically this is still 3 people)).
Aliens abduct a guy and take him on board a space ship. The aliens look at the mobile and wonder what it is. The mobile receives a phone call and vibrates. The Alien puts the mobile against another alien..The alien puts it in the mouth of the other alien and then somehow accepts an oncoming call. The alien accidentally swallows the mobile and then the voice of the caller (the abducted guys girlfriend) comes out of the aliens mouth. The abducted guy is on the bed and wakes up and sees the alien, but the alien talks (wife on mobile in side alien). The guy says 'wooo, I'm hallucinating that you are an alien, come over here darling', his wife is confused and 3 ways his mum and his mum starts talking through the aliens mouth :weird:.

3. Drunk Blind Driver.:rolleyes:
Drunk calls his wife to give him directions while he is driving his car blind! But his wife needs assistance and calls a friend to help. But she says go left and the other friend says 'right', well, he is confused and crashes the car.
