24p vs 25p

i was looking at a camera and it can only record 25p, not 24p so i was wondering if the difference was noticeable.

It shouldn't really make a huge difference especially as you can convert it in post, but it's a bit weird.

25 fps is the standard for European TV and some film and is a result of the PAL TV standard which is 50i. Unless you're buying this camera from Europe I'm not sure why it would shoot 25p.

But I might be missing a point here...?

yea wait i just read more about the camera and it does shoot 24p

i was reading someones comment on a video and they said it was 25p, guess they were wrong. thank god haha

Lol Lauren,

You and me both are considering the same cam.

I'll wait and see a lot of test footage before I buy; and one thing that concerns me is recording audio. with this cam, I'd probably be forced to record it separately using a recorder.

yea i cant really tell the image quality yet. the one promotional video they have up isnt in hd yet so its hard to tell
