1st serious(ish) film done!

Very very low budget, but I certainly got a lot of my vision on film. Warning: It's still very very rough, but I was messing with linux when I managed to delete my windows partition with all of my composition files  :bang:

Well here it is, hope you enjoy.

If you don't understand the plotline: its a story about a crack addict. Good book.

I appreciate criticism/comments!

btw if you get bored - fast forward to the cereal part, its my fav.

Nice high intensity editing style...as a proponent of the show it and move on club, well done. I like the experimental juxtaposition of elements cut to the music.

There were some problems with some of the masks and some timecode breaks (multi colored blocks)...specifically in the cereal scene, your clips end and go black before the mask is taken off the main clip leaving a large black background to the clip. The main clip also ends up at 50% opacity and doesn't come back up when the other clip leaves...making it darker against the black background.

In the dialog parts, the sound is very low and hissy (from using an on camera mic at a distance). If that's the only way you have to capture sound, have the actors run the scene, then step right up to the camera and run their dialog again the same way they just did it. It also seemed like it was a few frames off.

The attic set was very cool as was the stream, the bathroom and the house stuff...the end shot didn't give me a place, nor did the officey doorway.

Perfect choice of music for it, actors were good, played it nice and lowkey. Can't wait to see more.
