Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival is one of the best-known showcases and meeting points for emerging talent, and is the leading UK gateway to the world’s most prestigious short film and animation awards: the BAFTAs, Oscars®, European Film Awards and Cartoon d’Or. The festival presents a unique opportunity for industry and creatives to network and develop new collaborations. Early Deadline 29 March 2013 - for films completed in 2012
Final Deadline 3 June 2013 - for films completed in 2013
Short films and animations of any genre (fiction, documentary, experimental, music video) under 30 minutes are eligible.
Online submissions are powered by Reelport. There are discounts for multiple submissions, and if your film isn’t selected it can still be seen by delegates during the festival via our online Digital Viewing Library.
