editing 16 GB vs 32 GB ram

I was going to upgrade my laptop from a 6 GB ram laptop to a 32 gb ram laptop but is there really any noticeable difference between a 16 gb and a 32 GB laptop. Using this to add special effects to a feature film if this info helps any.

Ram does not bottleneck so the more RAM you have the faster your computer will process data.

Depends what you're doing. In some instances, yes there will be a big difference between 16 and 32gb. In others, the difference will be negligible.
