Sorry for late response, I haven't had cpu access for a while. I would be recording cellos 3 of them and the recording would be put onto cd's for distribution. I have a couple cheap $20 stage mics but i have about $150 to spend on mics at the moment.

I was reading an article and found a great "replacement" for a boom pole with shock absorber. Keep in mind it might easier for a diy but a golf ball retriever comes at 15' telescoping, just add rubber bands and "boom" (pun intended) you have a boom pole with shock absorber.

Thanks for the feedback. I won't be able to install this until tomorrow, and after reading this I am still a little confused. It does add an audio monitor to the screen? And is there any other way to monitor audio with ML installed? Because I was reading through the rest of this and I'm not...

That was hilarious. The best 2012 special I have watched. I admire the massive amount of work put into this, making shot minute long stop motions takes just a tad less time lol. But again this was amazing everything from attention to detail to the script, I loved it.

I couldn't find the facebook page and the vimeo link said you removed the video. Is there still a way to view it that I am over looking? I would love to see it but I just can't find it.

Ok so I just read this thread and I found it very helpful but I do believe I am left with two questions. 1. What is a good mic for the 550D under $100? 2. What (if anything) will I need to hear my audio when filming with the 550D?
