    Feed back or ideas, critisms

Well I was just going on what I heard Paul Schrader say, a script should work as a story first and then a movie. I don't really like doing it either haha but hey the advice got Taxi Driver made. I like the idea of narration, but flash backs too me are like cheating and I think they are a little...

    Feed back or ideas, critisms

I wrote this little intro as I went along one day and never did anything with it. I don't really know if this worth continuing or where it's heading. I was watching Le Samourai a lot when writing this so I'm not sure how I'd go about doing it. Gimme ideas or feedback if you have some and also...

Hey I showed this short exert of a screen play to my mom an she hated it.

Yeah I wrote this a long time ago, it's really embarrassing to look back on now, I see why people would have been annoyed with this haha. All I was watching at this point in my life was Pulp Fiction over and over and over. It's really bad, lesson learned :D!

    Script excert I'm working on.

Ey everybody thanks for the feed back! Greatly appreciated! I'm glad you picked up on my stealing Tarantino dialogue subconsciously! I went through a phase where I was fascinated with the Tarantino story telling technique, which I am now over, thank god. Looking back I see a lot of things I...

    Only one actress, any ideas?

Maybe you could turn this into a comment about human conditioning and perhaps show how people in America are conditioned differently then had you been born in Korea. :/ If your into that sorta thing.

    Only one actress, any ideas?

Haha Idk how you could make it interesting unless you do some very cool cinematography or have a character who talks to himself. Make something like Taxi Driver! Haha I'm sorry if that did not help.

    Hi, how are you

Hi there. My name is Conor. I'm a young filmmaker and have been a film geek since I was four years old. I have been waiting all my life for the day to come for me to direct a movie of my own and until then I will keep observing the world, seeing and hearing it's elements that could be projected...

    Black Comedy and Tongue-in-cheek

Dawn of the Dead is a lot of tongue and cheek. (The original 1978 classic of course) Fargo is more black comedy.

    Mixed Genres in One Script

Look at Tarantino man. All his movies mix and match genres. It's superb for film makers to express there love of film in their movies by mixing what they love most from different genres. I think it works best when you have a central themed one and mix sub-genres though. Like a crime movie with...

    Script excert I'm working on.

I'm writing this script that I'm unsure is either really cool or really lame. This is my first screenplay and I'm just starting to take cinematography and creative writing courses. I'm going to begin directing independent pictures in a few years and this is a test for me on whether I should...
