    I need advice!

No. Our local CBS station is really patriotic as well as the NBC, but the ABC station would honestly run a commercial or announcement audio during the national anthem. ROC, I wish. I did get two free tickets so I gave em' to my sister and brother. They were pretty happy.

    I need advice!

I have friends for CBS, what if I took the sound from them, and just spliced it together? I've done similar things like that!

    I need advice!

So I got a job filming the National Anthem at the Ace's baseball stadium. I have full access to the field and will have a small crew. Now I'm experienced with things like events and live broadcasts but this is new turf for me... Any advice is welcome.

    City Permission or Permits

In the state of Nevada, you're supposed to get a permit to film, all they do is check for insurance, it's free. For the guns you go down to the City Police, or Sheriff, and show them the permit. Make sure to clarify dates or you might have a misunderstanding and end up having an actual gun in...

legal disclaimer text size on screen

It depends the class of the commercial. Like if it was court ordered it would have to be bigger, than if it was a pharmaceutical commercial. Also it depends what the commercial audibly says like all the "fine print" in drug comms is said.

    archived-videos Possible Post-Apocalyptic Web Series?

Also, the legal department of Hunteq Media is taking the responsibilities as record keepers for things such as consent forms and minor consent forms and use forms. (A Korean Law Student.) Haha.

Also we need to decide on a common video codec for sending the files P2P. I'm thinking one of many .mov codecs. They work on both FCP and CS5, not sure about other programs, like FCE. Also what aspect ratio and settings! If we're going for UBER cinematic, I'm thinking 1920x1080P, 32bit color...

    archived-videos Possible Post-Apocalyptic Web Series?

Okay! Just got off the phone with Owen! So here's what's going to happen! The major participants of this project are going to at one point start a dialogue on the actual production process. What me and Owen figured out so far, not set in stone, is that he is going to make a basic plot/story line...

    editing Foley is a nightmare

My minor is Audio Engineering. Sadly I focused on wireless set-ups, not actual sound design but the connections and hook-ups. But I did get to play with it. As far as I know it's a pain unless it's all you do five days a week, eight hours a day, but damn it's boring to me. I need a picture or...

Um. Group facilitator? I've never heard that term before! I'm flattered! I'll have to research this one. I'm a tech director, essentially a studio hermit... Haha. Definantly interesting! Why don't we start by listing skills? Or something?

    editing FCP aspect ratio

Just select the sequence window, (timeline), and go to I think preferences? Something like that. Google it! That's what I do! It's an odd request, but it's possible! Truly possible!

    archived-videos Possible Post-Apocalyptic Web Series?

By the way I have some engineering friends who do odd jobs for me who are interested as well! Really exciting. I have a couple ideas on how to write and widely produce this... It'll be hard... But most likely worth it. Also if we can tie each episode together maybe we can enter into a film...

    editing questions about fcp

Also in studio, we use both The adobe suite, and Final cut studio, no AVID though since we're a MAC shop. Now we do have one PC for the teleprompters with windows movie maker set up as a joke for interns. But it's purely personal preference

    editing questions about fcp

Bottom line. They edit video. FCP, Adobe Premeire And avid can mostly export the same formats and edit HD. It's about your personal PREFERENCE. I PREFER Final Cut because it's what I was taught on.

    3D TEXT ANIMATION SOFTWARE?

For all of my 3D texts and objects I use Motion 4 which comes with Final Cut Studio. The 3D function is the same for text and objects. It's essentially faux 3D using ranks of the same object, the more ranks, the higher quality. Plenty of YouTube tutorials on the subject. Also with motion and...

archived-videos Well... how does one describe this?

It's similar to the style of Robot Chicken!!! I think it's actually pretty good for someone who doesn't reside in the industry!

    archived-videos Possible Post-Apocalyptic Web Series?

I'm interested in a collaboration! I live in a desert so post-Apocalyptic scenery much? I have gear and can even get together a crew for no-cost. (Thank you Washoe County School District!) I'm interested in expanding on this idea and possibly using tools such as Skype to build upon it, maybe...

    Panasonic AG-HMC80

So I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on Panasonic's AG-HMC80. It's related to the AG-HMC150P, which I'm used to working with. All the reviews I've read, even the negative ones, say it's a great buy for the price. It shoots in full 1920x1080P, with many different frame rates. I would...
