Better acting vs. better shooting takes.

If it's at all an option, I would think re-shooting would be the best solution. Tricks and work-arounds are great but in my experience NOTHING will ever come close to getting it right in the first place. (or in the case of re-shoots, in the second place.)

    really good unknown movies??

"Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers....a total letdown, but the title was awesome sounding !" Add Zombie Strippers to that list. It's hard to say what qualifies as "unknown" but there's a spanish film called "Intacto" that I thought was brilliant and don't ever see mentioned anywhere...

Assuming I'm the lead - any universe Jean Pierre Juenet wants to create. :D

cinematography Is this a cliche movie opening?

Maybe, but it's one that I don't think bothers anyone.

favorite What is your all time favorite movie scene?

Don't nessisarily agree with all of Nate North's scenes - but I agree with the number of them. hah. That's why we love cinema. :P I should add Baraka and Chronos in my list of "Classics" I haven't seen. Four Rooms - yeah, I believe so.. (about Roth) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfXuc_Tp5dk

favorite What is your all time favorite movie scene?

Murdock - From what I remember (it's been a while) - tarantino's section of Four Rooms is the last "room" (it's four short films and his is the last) and it's the best part about it. It's really a pretty cool little story - as cool as anything in Pulp Fiction.

What is the "big/classic" movie that you've never seen?

That perspective always seemed odd to me.. "Tell me your story - but tell it like this.." I always feel it's your story. Tell it how you like. Rejecting something is the antithesis of watching or listening. I'm their to listen.. but uh.. if you didn't like the characters

What is the "big/classic" movie that you've never seen?

Watch Breaking Waves, Dancer In The Dark, Dogville, and/or Antichrist. (Lars Von Trier) You might have to watch Requiem for a Dream again afterward just to cheer yourself up.

    Question about my premise.

If you're going to do woman on woman violence, don't make it Jerry Springer - make it Natural Born Killers.

favorite What is your all time favorite movie scene?

AAh! Snatch! - the scene after the last fight.. with the Oasis song playing in the background ("f**king in the bushes") and that incredible narration! "You ever cross the road and look the wrong way? And then Presto there's a car nearly on ya. So what do you do? Something very silly - you...

archived-videos Would You Call Her In?

I'd call the actress back.. and fire the composer. I've zero experience with demo reels - but are the stills and the song in the beginning necessary? Seems like you'd send a head-shot with a demo reel anyway?

I want to say Trey Parker and Matt Stone's first film "Cannibal: The Musical" was Troma and I saw that..

What is the "big/classic" movie that you've never seen?

There's a lot. I'd say the Genre I've seen the least of is western though. Never seen a John Wayne movie. Not sure what John Ford did. When I do get around to it though, I think I'll cut in through Jimmie Stewart.

    Question about marketing a quadrilogy.

Off hand "Back To The Future" and "Rock N' Rolla" both had "to be continued" titles at the end. I'm fairly sure The Matrix Reloaded had a "to be continued" or "to be concluded" title. I think you should write all four movies at once, shoot all four movies at once, and then release all four...
