Yeah the only thing that got me was the unsteady handheld shots. It's like... there's intentional handheld movements like what you see in mockumentaries then there's just unsteadiness... and I feel that's what this is. Maybe get a tripod as suggested before. But I didn't hate it. It was good...
I have limited experience in that exact portion of the field but I don't think high quality low budget is all that feasible. I guess maybe it'll depend on the content you want.
But to get the ball rolling yeah dude... shoot it on an iPhone. My iPhone takes crazy good video. I'd be more worried...
I feel like when you say big leagues you mean Hollywood or something... don't focus so hard on that. Just get your material out there and get it recognized. Hollywood's not the only "big league" out there. That stupid GrumpyCat has made it's owner $100,000,000 supposedly. Look to the internet...
I can always switch back (and may have to) but decided to go back to an old love of mine... Ubuntu. Currently running the latest 14.04 LTS. Was wondering if we had any other users (editors?) out there using this software and what video editing software may be recommended?
I meant video rendering, sorry. Well I'm about to build a new system. Price is a factor but I got some funds to throw in it. Just wondering the best direction to go.
I don't know if this really applies but for me I don't do it to work in the industry. I'm not tied to anything of the sort. I'm making and learning because I do truly find it awesome. The whole thing.
I do use 6.0 and I'll admit to being more than a mere beginner with Premiere Pro. But 6.0 does display waveforms. It's truly truly lacking multiple tracks. This is one of the main reasons for my even switching. It does not handle large projects well, as stated, but I've rendered my 70 minute...
So I've had, I would say, a fair amount of luck holding local screenings and posting my films on Youtube. I'm currently working on more content but I'm seriously wanting to break the mold, so to speak, to go beyond my comfort zone. And I won't deny that getting the name out there more wouldn't...
OK so totally serious question here... am I the only here that uses Windows Movie Maker (6.0 not Live or 2.6) for most of my video editing needs? It's not advanced but most of the time all I need are some cuts and transitions and most of the other, more advanced, softwares I've used have been...
I've heard it all, really. "get good ram" "get top of the line cpu" "it's your motherboard and chipset" "it's your hard drive" and so on... I want you guys to chime in here and I apologize if it's been covered before. I looked a couple pages back and found nothing. And I realize it may be a...
is your hdd/ssd speed more or as important as the rest of the specs (good ram/cpu/mb) ? I've recently upgraded to an SSD (not the fastest one on the market) and didn't really notice a huge jump. A friend recommended I try RAID.
Currently I'm running an SSD with a 4GB RamDisk as a scratch.
Just wondering what you guys do or recommend in post to keep/have/make all your audio even and level? Programs, tips, tricks, and so on. I'm looking to "remaster" the audio from my first film/documentary and this is pretty much the biggest issue.
Yeah I'm excited. It's made me want to try and create a script and short film but that'll have to be on the backburner for now. We're gearing up for our next round of investigations. We want to build on the momentum we have on Youtube.
Haha Touché... I have trouble giving myself credit and...
I'm a paranormal investigator and "wannabe filmmaker". I've created two full length documentaries of my and my teams exploits and have become captivated by film making. I have my hands in every aspect of what I've created so far and don't plan to ever stop letting that be my norm.
I'm here to...
