    archived-videos Requiem - new short

Nice! amazing music! You know what I would do? I would make it a silent film. Except for one line! "they knew i knew" (or whatever it was.) The acting wasn't great, so I would let their lips move, execpt for the one line. It will add intrigue even more. PLEASE fix the scene where he hands her...

Why the F*** are TLD's ".film" so EXPENSIVE!

ahhh I see...that kinda makes sense. But who is profiting? It takes the same amount of server space - doesnt it?

Why the F*** are TLD's ".film" so EXPENSIVE!

Hahaha. The demand for .com is way bigger than .film.

Why the F*** are TLD's ".film" so EXPENSIVE!

Have you guys noticed it costs up to $150 to buy a ".film" TLD (top level domain)??!!! I have my conspiracy theories as to why (studios want to squeeze the little guy). But does anyone know the real reason? Curious.

    Porn Industry Monetization?

Aside from porn stars making money, how do porn filmmakers make money? Is there a (porn) film market like cannes and Berlinale? Are there sales agents?

    copyright vs register

Directorik is correction, but Copyright your script. WGA is also an option, but Copyright your work if you are tying to show it production houses, agents, reps etc. This is a lawyer...firemark. He has lots of free legal stuff...

    Copyright for Festivals

Directorick's advice is accurate. It's also about context. If the 10 seconds is way in the background, and inconsequential, then noone will notice. Sometimes a brand product is flashed and no one notices or cares. Even Hollywood does it by accident. That being said, it doesn't mean you are...

archived-videos A version of my surrealistic short. All critic welcome

This is great! I really liked it! To me, it's the first act of a feature. If you need help with the plot points let me know! It's a little bit slow paced for a short, but not for a feature! kinda reminds me of atom egoyan's first film. Loved it!

    No Contract

So I wrote this incredible script. I was looking for feedback, so I posted an ad on craigslist 2 years ago... asking for people to review it. 3 people gave great advise and I incorporated their comments here and there. I told them i would credit them. I will of course...but don't have any...

In Defence of the Hollywood Superhero

Systematic problems are not Hollywood material. Real change moves at the speed of a glacier. People want instant gratification (in film). Escapism is great for 2 hours, but people who watch films for escapism (only) are not only watching 2 hours only. They are watching sports, the entertainment...

    Dealing with difficult leading ladies

I think Sfoster was being genuine and finding the root cause of the problem. That Sometimes pay determines their professional attitude...which I disagree with. If you find a solid actor, they come through on many levels both on the camera and off camera. It's not entirely your art. They are...

    Greetings:

There are only 6 to 8 companies in the world that can produce even close to a billion dollars (even if over 100 years). I loved your story, but smiled/chuckled a bit when I read that line. You know the 6 companies who can do this, approach them! The 'easiest' way to do this would be to go to...
