Does anybody else think that having the guy doing the Star Trek films do the Star Wars films is a bit weird. I can just imagine girlfriends of the world all shouting "I told you they were the same thing!"

BAGHEAD A meta-horror by the Duplass Brothers. Loved it from the very first line. Equally as daft as it was brilliant. 8/10

Thought Armageddon and The Rock were enjoyable big flicks, Transformers though I just can't watch it's just sooo bad! "good at what he does" ha yup, I'm not a fan though! He seems to be the goto man for that style of film... so really wouldn't say he's underrated.

Safety Not Guaranteed - Very enjoyable, not fall of your seat funny but charming and cute. Not even the proliferation of upside down turtle faces made famous by Nick from New Girl stopped me enjoying this (I tell ya the entire cast are at it). 8/10

Are people being serious?? If so ...that's frightening!! Can't think of another director who skipped from genre to genre and made so many great films. From 1960 the run of classic films he made is staggering, each one dramatically different from the other.

Live Flesh - Second dip into my Pedro Almodovar boxset. I liked how the story eventaully came full circle and this was mirrored with the Buses and the Births that was very clever. It wasn't predictable but the reveal towards the end wasn't really a surprise. Some nice boobies in there tho. 7/10...
