I need some advice to make sure I am using the right tool for the job. I am finding myself being able to get a much more stable image over my shoulder rig, by using the 'tripod as a counter weight' trick.. That is, if have any movement. Of course if I use the tripod how its supposed to be used...
I heard that too.. I almost went to 32's until I considered how much I would lose if the card failed. I plan on keeping laptops handy, and transferring data on the scene.
The prediction model is what has happened to most music artists..
Movies will be distributed at will, like Mp3's. Now music artists have to tour to cover expenses. Movie makers will have to rely on delivering unique content on a personal basis to survive.
Old school advertising budgets will...
<The noob is strong in this one ... Yes master shot! Ahh, learning feels so good sometimes.
Yeah, I guess I am nervous that I don't want sticks in the mud.. but I am also nervous that if I say go wild, then I will have a bunch of corny moments on my hands. I am not shy about working from...
I am composing a shot that will be use to cut to, during a bunch of action shots, to move lyrics forward in a music video. The Mood is high, but not fake energy.
Ingredients:
Two music artist singing lyrics
10 rednecks drinking beer
10 cute girls
Sunset
Several trucks
Dirt

BBQ

..excellent feedback.. I can tell I am underestimating the task. Fortunately, I am replacing audio with music, so we can pump music, and megaphoning direction, during the shot...
hmm, this could be nuts..
..The actress thread had me thinking
Does anyone have tips and tricks for inspiring a crowd?.. I've got a party scene with 30+ people, and I am going at it solo with an assistant. They are all friends and family, and have all seen it before.. We are going to do 2 or 3 full shots of one song...
No sweat CV, I am trouble free since I favored better cards, and I am very stoked at the t3i's ability to amaze me compared to my previous camera..
The vid above was just 'proof' that a card can act normal... say, while you sit in your office filming white walls, and then fail as the image and...
I tried to force close with a class 4 (PNY optima 8gb) and had trouble force closing the buffer, so I switched to an old SanDisk MicroSD (very old cell phone card class2?) in an adapter and I can force close it every time...
Success!!.. Note, that even sounds will cause this card to buffer...
New test..

A little dark, but switched to 1/50 and instead of panning, going with a dolly movement. There was a lot of wind noise, so I added a soundtrack .... :D
