    screenwriting technical question....

You should definitely separate each instant of the character. Say his name is Victor, so Victor Clone 1, Victor Clone 2, Victor Clone 3... should work. The reader needs to be able to understand what's going on.

Jerry Bruckheimer will be moving to Paramount.

It could be interesting, seeing him work somewhere new may sprout some great future projects.

    The Amazing Spiderman 2

A lot of things look bad about this film; but not unexpected. I don't expect the story, dialog or characters to make sense in super hero films, it's just the way these films tend to be. What really seems to pop-out are the computer generated effects. Are they trying to see just how cheap they...

archived-videos The Plan - Short Film

The film is about whatever you take from it. For me, it is about a personal idea. It is about the memories of a person just through his feelings and not through what actually happen. Imagine telling someone how you felt about a past event, but never telling what actually happen. Now let the...

archived-videos The Plan - Short Film

Hey man, thanks for the input. The film was originally 2 minutes longer! Believe it or not. There was an entire scene shot that I got rid of. (You can see it here if you'd like: http://www.theplan-film.com/#!videos/c9qb the bottom right video) As for your questions: How much was your budget...

Is my director going to ruin his movie?

DDK sums it up well. However, I'd like to add to the one-take thing; It's not a problem if done correctly. This is actually how indies use to shoot on film days, because film was so expensive. Also, a lot of directors don't do proper rehearsals - It's best to get the actors ready before the day...

    How long before you know...

Part of being a professional is when reaching an obstacle, you know what you have to learn in order to own it. Experience will teach you not only the things you experienced, but also broaden your horizons on things that where yet to be achieved.

    Youtube vs Vimeo

Vimeo provides a more professional package. If you are an aspiring artist, having a Vimeo page can be beneficial. Without going into details; Vimeo is a place to show original work, unlike Youtube, which will allow just about anything. Use youtube for commercial work and everything fun you...

    editing Editing A Feature

Organize your footage according to the scenes of the movie, number and title each scene. If there is one footage used in two different scenes, duplicate the file to both folders. I like to name my files to their Scene, Shot and Take. Example: 05s12t03 = Scene 5, Shot 12, Take 3. Once all that's...

editing Edited timeline in 720p need to switch back to 1080p

I don't know how FCX works, but in FCP and Adobe Premiere you can easily do this: -Create a new sequence/timeline with 1080p and whatever fits your desired workflow. -Copy the entire contents of your 720p timeline and paste it in the new 1080p timeline. -Now make sure to bring all video file...
