    NARRATOR: carrot or stick?

That's true. It wasn't anything compared to Shawshank Redemption. But then that might have been because I watched it on TV so it had a lot cut out :)

editing Playing footage smoothly in Adobe Programmes?

What is Cineform Neo, and how would I get it? As for my computer specs, they couldn't really be much worse. It only has half GB of RAM as it is an oldl one form my Dad's company. (I'll now get loads of replies saying 'no wonder it doesn't play smoothly) :)

    Short film script wanted...free?

Hey I have always wanted someone to send me a script online which I can then make. Anyone have a script they would like to send me, or know of any place where this might happen? I would of course credit you and I have semi-professional equipment, actors etc.. Thanks George

    NARRATOR: carrot or stick?

As soon as I saw this thread the first thought that came into my mind was Morgan Freeman- Shawshank Redemption. I suppose it just depends on the narrator and what they're saying (surprisingly) which is very hard to get right. Escpecially if you don't have access to Morgan Freeman.

editing Playing footage smoothly in Adobe Programmes?

Should I convert the files first? I have a good file converter that convert anything into anything which I use quite often.

editing Playing footage smoothly in Adobe Programmes?

The format which is giving me issues is 720p MP4 h.264 footage shot on a Samsung camera. However it will play 1080p .mts files totally fine which are much larger which doesn't make sense to me. I've looked into proxy files before but I don't understand them.

editing Playing footage smoothly in Adobe Programmes?

Hey I'm having trouble editing anything I shoot because it does' play at all smoothly in After Effects or Premiere. I thought it was my computer but then I edited some footage which was full HD but only 25fps. I think it must be because there are twice as many frames to render? Anyone know...

That would explain why a simple 2 minute test, which I used the grain removal for, of mine took ten hours to render.

Best way to schedule 48 hour film competition?

Amazing advice from everyone, thanks. Maybe I'll put this forum in the credits? I guess it's all about pre and post production. That's what I need to work on when I make films anyway. So hopefully doing a few 48 hour film competitions will help me to improve my filmmaking skills. I hope I...
