Beat me to it! Even though i guess i'm still considered a starter, my first "film" was done with a $300 camera. from there i grew to my two current Canon GL2s. they are not that great for film, but tweaking the footage in post production helps alot.

i think the trailer could have been a bit... more.... exciting.. well music wise. idk

i have a canon Gl2, my friend has an XL1. It seems i get more done with my GL2, you can check out videos i've made like "the sky is blue" and "senior Video Trailer" in other posts, where i mostly used my canon GL2. After color correction and sky replacement of course.

haha well not bad for a first time, the guy actually kept me listening. so it had a good dialougue... the acting of the workes was a bit weak at times, but other than that kinda cool, and a bit cliche..... idk.. haha

uff... the exact same thing happened to me once... you could tell right away that the video was stretched..... or cropped, good luck on that one, i'd do the Tv court like Indetalk suggested.

Thank you! The continuity error, yeah, it was two different film days, and we forgot the glasses on who knows who's house. We didn't have time to go back and get them since our "actors" had plans after re filming that one shot. In The Steadicam/crane shots i used a Glidecam 2000 Pro since i use...

i saw the first one, since the second one isn't loading for some reason, and i think you have too much Designer FX on it... that just doesn't match..... the video is good, maybe you should try tweaking the sounds to make them sound like something else thats not Designer FX.

Maybe you should try getting a steadycam to actually give it that feel... if you don't have the appropriate equipment to fulfill your visualization, you might end up getting what you are running away from: an amateur video. Also...make sure the bride and the groom want you to experiment with...

or in my case, i made a senior video, to help pay for my short "the sky is blue" so far only 16 people have bought it, but thats $160 dollars off the bat! and i'm still planning on selling 15 more for some people that want it as well.
