    Celtx question?

Oh, for sure, totally impossible. ;) I gave you less than nothing to work with there. I should have posted the whole scene at first. I DO tend to get chatty and wordy, so I try to keep my posts short. Doesn't always happen... :D Margo

    Celtx question?

No, no. You guys are right. But Will's example is, for lack of a better word, incorrect to the scene. Renee has no physical action, just a sudden flash of worry, that her daughter isn't really going fishing with the hot guy. The scene is so fast paced: Julie darting out the door, Mom/Renee on...

    Celtx question?

Hey, filmy! :D I think I did it right by accident the very first time when Will helped me figure it, But when I tried later and went to TYPESET the parentheticals were all over the place. I had to fix SO MUCH! There's my LOL! I had to remove LOTS of those from my first drafts of 'Masks...

    Celtx question?

No worries about your last sentence, :). I had that right. No extra steps used. But for the rest of your post: Hm. Really? Guess I didn't comprehend that from the other posts. My bad. Even if it's for the character speaking?Well, that's what I get for reading the shooting scripts, right? At...

    Celtx question?

Hey! I figured it out! By accident of course! Just this morning, I was like 'crap! how'd that happen?!' :hmm: You can make a parenthetical after dialogue on Celtx by hitting 'Shift' then 'Enter', It sends you down that one line(like Will said) then, 'Shift' then 'Enter', again. (The little...

    Rewrote my registered screenplay...

perfect info Thanks filmy, Looks like the info I needed. Bookmarked, too, thank you. I didn't have anything like that in my faves yet. I'm thinking I made enough changes to re-register. I do truly trust my 'people', but if I wasn't paranoid, :P I wouldn't be Margo. Nice to actually HAVE...

    Rewrote my registered screenplay...

I say...'Whew!' It's ready to be critiqued by some experienced folks who have been helping me from the beginning. (not that I won't take all the experienced help I can get) I did register my screenplay with WGAw AND my novel I adapted from is well copyrighted, LOC and...

    Celtx question?

Morning, Formatting goes WAY beyond margins and fonts, don't it? I think that's gonna lead to a point I want to make for new and hopeful (like me) screenwriters. One of my BIGGEST helps is reading screenplays, honestly, as much as any of my screenwriting books helped. And I suggest...

    Celtx question?

Hey filmy! Thanks so much for your info/reply too. I should have replied days ago but Halloween is a big deal here! I read 'Ocean's Eleven' the night before, that was just a fresh example I had in my head. (I thought that was a great scene, stuck with me.) But, darn it, I MAY have done that...

    Celtx question?

Thanks Will, It was killing my pacing here and there. I'll give your way a try. May have to get a different screenwriting program. I want my parenthesis where I want them!:) :D Margo

    Celtx question?

Morning ya`ll! I'm trying to figure out how(or if I can at all) to put paranthesis AFTER dialoge... For example in Ocean's eleven screenplay, when Clooney talks to Pitt, laying on the bar: Clooney Think ten's enough...

    re-introducing myself !

Perfect? Yeah, I gave up on that, just a little while ago. Now...My 'done' is actually 'ready for the next critique so I can rewrite it again'. You wouldn't believe the script changes I made today. AGAIN, it seems to be headed to be a whole new script. I've learned alot, but I'll never use...

    re-introducing myself !

Hi again! :hi: I'm Margo Macabee. Kinda forgot I joined in July, but got a membership last night. Glad I did, too! Lots of good stuff from  clive, filmy, knightly and quite a few more over on those pages. I've read halfway through the screenwriters threads this morning. I'm cross-eyed...

    Hello, I'm Margo Macabee.

It looked like this is where I say 'Hi' at, sooo, Hi! I self-published my novel "Masks of Nudity" last year and have recently got the screenplay nice and tidy. Still a bit more work, but my confidence is showing. I totally enjoyed writing my book and the script and I have a few more solid ideas...
