I'm in the army and that's what it says verbatim. FM 21-76 page 8-33. The main reason is so no one steps on it. That FM is geared more towards survival in the wilderness. SERE training gets more into cover and conceilment.

According to the U.S. Army survival guide you should cut the head off and bury it.

@SHD, that may be true in Ontario but there are some parts of the us that are over populated with rattlesnake and they hold events to bring down the population. I'm totally against senseless killing of animals but he did eat it and I bet it taste real good to. And don't worry about fitting in...

Freaking awesome. Iv always wanted to kill and eat a rattlesnake. Unfortunately snakes don't exist in Alaska. I'm all about the wilderness survival.

Currently I'm relyin on my iPhone for Internet access so I haven't been able to keep up with the ML group. But literally my versions of ML works perfectly for about 2 months then in one day it starts acting funny.
