I used to love Captain Planet when I was a kid. I thought it was pretty good, especially the last bit with the recycle bin. :lol: It actually made me want to see an entire film based on the trailer.

I have to join the crowd with the overuse of the flashes and focuses. I tried to make it all the way through, but it didn't draw me in. The camera work was well done, and the actors looked interesting, but without some dialog from the actors (not including the V/O) to make me care about the...

Just watched the first one. I have to say it didn't really interest me to make it past the 5 minute mark. Shot selection was good, audio was good. I didn't care for the muted look of the colors. It was like a fog was on the lens. Dialog and story didn't do it for me. Sorry.

You know, though it doesn't give the ability to switch lenses in and out, I love my Canon HF10. Great picture, very portable. You can achieve shallow DOF by using some work arounds which work well enough for me. Best part, I bought mine used for $300.

Make sure you have plenty of crew and a designated sound person. My first was a silent so I didn't need a sound person, but I wish I had a larger crew. It is insanely hard to direct and shoot at the same time. :)

Nice job. Some roughness here and there but overall a good effort. It turned out way better than my inaugural film. :)

You're right, the support is great. In case anyone ever runs into the same problem, they just had me uninstall Neo Scene and then reinstall. And I felt like an idiot after they told me that. :lol:

OK, I have to admit defeat. I can't figure it out. I'm using Neo Scene to convert my AVCHD file (filmed using Canon Vixia HF 10) and I have no sound. I downloaded the AC3 thing that it recommends to do, but then what? What should be my order? Do something with the AVCHD footage and AC3...

That is cool, but I hate to think that I have a $100 virtual paperweight.
