Neo Scene

OK, I have to admit defeat. I can't figure it out. I'm using Neo Scene to convert my AVCHD file (filmed using Canon Vixia HF 10) and I have no sound. I downloaded the AC3 thing that it recommends to do, but then what? What should be my order?

Do something with the AVCHD footage and AC3? Convert using Neo Scene first? Also, what settings for Neo Scene are best? I-Fields only, what's that?

Sorry for the bit of rambling, I've been trying to figure it out on my own for the past three hours and my mind has turned to mush. :)

you need the AC3 thing installed BEFORE you encode. Any neoscene converted files will have to be RE-converted to have sound.

Just installing the ac3 decoder should be a one time deal.

NOTE about Audio: If you are not properly converting audio, you may not have an AC3 decoder installed. Many software packages install an AC3 decoder, but if not, you can get a free AC3 decoder here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ac3_filter.htm.

You're right, the support is great. In case anyone ever runs into the same problem, they just had me uninstall Neo Scene and then reinstall. And I felt like an idiot after they told me that.
