Hi, yes it is definitely a mixed thing, silent movie might raise interest because it is silent but silent feature, that has length around 68 minutes might be a risky move. Time will tell, next feature will be a "talkie" tough.

Yes it is possible, but for feature I think you should use at minimum 16mm b/w film, and that means that cost of the film will raise quite high for the project.

Yep eventually film will be replaced by digital, but hopefully not anytime soon. But I think there is something else in Public Enemies that just digital. I did like Collateral and that was digital as well.
