Directorik would know better than I. But the telecine is the process of digitizing film that hasbeen processed. ZenSteve had recommended Yale Film (i think that's the name), but I've never used them.

To be clear: the telecine do not process your sound. They process the film. Then, create a digital file. You sycn your sound to the digital file. I'm assuming you are not cutting and splicing tape and film. :)

Be sure to specity what fps you shot at, to the company doing the telecine. Once, you have the file tbey create, you should be able to use normal editing software.

It looked nice, and the pacing was nice. However, it didn't strike me as LOL funny.

The premise seems to be untenable. How can we feel bad for two moochers? I'm not certain where the dark comedy comes in? When I think dark comedy I hear the Fight Club line,"God! I haven't been fucked like that since kindergarten." Dark, but funny, in context. It looked nice, but it seemed flat.

Promising start with the 2 Russian guys. But it fizzled after that. Everything looked nice and professional. It just wasn't funny, to me. But I am sure there are those that will like it.

There is hair on his jacket, in the opening sequence. And there is coffee on the cup, when he replaces it in the cabinet. These two things ruined the "fastidious" persona you were constructing.

Be careful with the Foley stuff. For example: The door creaks shut, but he doesn't react until in closes completely. So, does that creaking sound add or take away from the scene?

I thought the same thing about the night lighting. It needs to look natural, or have some context as to where it's coming from. You showed us the Monster!?

No self-respecting lazy gamer would let sun light fall on their TV while they are trying to play. :) I thought it was nice. Would have liked to see a twist at the end. Like the pictures were actually of the sister.
