sound Super 8 Sound sync - where to process?

Directorik would know better than I. But the telecine is the process of digitizing film that hasbeen processed. ZenSteve had recommended Yale Film (i think that's the name), but I've never used them.

sound Super 8 Sound sync - where to process?

To be clear: the telecine do not process your sound. They process the film. Then, create a digital file. You sycn your sound to the digital file. I'm assuming you are not cutting and splicing tape and film. :)

sound Super 8 Sound sync - where to process?

Be sure to specity what fps you shot at, to the company doing the telecine. Once, you have the file tbey create, you should be able to use normal editing software.

What To Do: Producer Requested Few Pages of Script

He said a few pages. If you think there is a part of the story that could stand alone, better than the first few pages, send those. If not, send the first 3-5 pages.

    Back In The Saddle!!

Welp, it's been awhile. Life has been good. Lots of work, so money is fine. But I literally have had no time to do ANYTHING. I believe that has changed, and thing will become more steady. Sooooo, I have started making filming plans. Got a mini-docu in mind and a short film. Nothing fancy, I...

    Are you burned out yet?

I'm burned out on trying to get started. :) I have no aspirations to "go pro." I would just like to have a creative outlet. However, there are months on end where I work 7 days/ week. The money is good, but no movies..... As for this site, yes it can get repetitive with the beginner questions...

archived-videos NEW CULT DARK COMEDY EMMY WINNING TEAM!!

It looked nice, and the pacing was nice. However, it didn't strike me as LOL funny.

archived-videos Stardust Dark Comedy TV Pilot

The premise seems to be untenable. How can we feel bad for two moochers? I'm not certain where the dark comedy comes in? When I think dark comedy I hear the Fight Club line,"God! I haven't been fucked like that since kindergarten." Dark, but funny, in context. It looked nice, but it seemed flat.

archived-videos Our Comedy Series Behind The Blinds

Promising start with the 2 Russian guys. But it fizzled after that. Everything looked nice and professional. It just wasn't funny, to me. But I am sure there are those that will like it.

    archived-videos My 2nd short film- "Assassin"- BMPC4k

There is hair on his jacket, in the opening sequence. And there is coffee on the cup, when he replaces it in the cabinet. These two things ruined the "fastidious" persona you were constructing.

I enjoyed that you pointed out the broom was used. Fun skit.

archived-videos My TV comedy pilot (procedural) "We're going to be rich!"

I watched the whole thing. Thought it was funny. It probably helps that I speak Spanish because some of the humor can get lost in translation. Which brings me to my first point: What market are you going for. I'm guessing a Spanish speaking one. If not, go with English. You would lose the "no...

Home of the Brave Would have like to see the guy be more animated as he ran the hobo out of the shed. More angry/hostile. Don't most panhandlers pick a busy street to be on. This looks like he's at the back of a shop, but maybe that"s due to permits and what not.

    archived-videos My 2nd short film

I would have liked to have seen more of a juxtaposition between the before and after scenes. Mainly a lighting issue, I think. Go from bright and warm to cool and bleak. I can see where you tried for this, but I would make it more. Need more party at the first party. And I wouldn't even have...

archived-videos Night - Horror Short Film

Be careful with the Foley stuff. For example: The door creaks shut, but he doesn't react until in closes completely. So, does that creaking sound add or take away from the scene?

    archived-videos Sappe (suspenseful childeren's short)

I thought the same thing about the night lighting. It needs to look natural, or have some context as to where it's coming from. You showed us the Monster!?

archived-videos Brother - Indie Horror Short Starring Capone Lee

No self-respecting lazy gamer would let sun light fall on their TV while they are trying to play. :) I thought it was nice. Would have liked to see a twist at the end. Like the pictures were actually of the sister.
