The campaign is way to oversimplified. You need to add more detail about the team behind the project, and previous works you've completed before you expect anyone to really help. There is no substance to it, so you need to provide a little more insight and back story.

Kickstarter and IndieGoGo are good, but have different styles. IndieGoGo is a little better in my opinion for short films. Another option that you may consider is Seed&Spark. I haven't used it, but it guides and helps you in building a quality campaign. As long as your idea is novel enough...

Hekk yeah! I'm all for someone doing it other than Ridley. Much respect for his original vision, but I'm ready for a more coherent story plot.

Well, either way... Don't let the world bring you down. Others already bring themselves down enough anyway, especially during hard times. Take a break if you need, but keep on keeping on. You seemed pretty excited with this project. Sorry its not working out the way you envisioned.

Its always hard for people to accept change, sometimes even ourselves in regards to the reactions we get from it. Just do what you do, and screw the rest.

Crazy thing was it was an Oscar nominee, wasn't it? It's funny, if you watch the interviews with Robert Egers... He even laughs a little when people tell him it was an amazing film. He's a very humble director, but kinda crazy.

Yeah, but it doesn't have to be. There are plenty of people interested in working on films or being in them. Just got to spin it the right way, and try your best to shake off the feeling that its all going down hill.

That's why I think short films are a great way to see what really works well as a complete cinematic experience. It's why some videos do better than others. I've seen plenty of short films that had an amazing story... And they do okay in metric views and likes... But I've seen visually...
