[Sep 17] What are you working on this week?

All sounding good. Almost finished a miniature model shot video with breakdown... which is nice. Feature treatment, music video treatment and some test vfx for that.

[Aug 6] What are you working on this week?

Aye for planar tracking etc (i would imagine, used mocha a bit but never really got to grips with it), but for dropping in 3d objects I need the 3d camera tracker to work for element 3d objects. Edit: I stand corrected. Just watching a tut now. Edit Edit: The 3d solver doesn't come with the...

[Aug 6] What are you working on this week?

Well, here's the motion tracked version. Probably going to try and add something to the blimp screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocm-mtpeErY A question for any AE users. I used the built in tracker but when any objects get real close to the camera they wobble about loads. I'm rather...

[Jul 30] What are you working on this week?

Friday and Saturday I was working on a test miniature city. A mate asked me if I'd help photograph his model city he is making. He fancies a change in career to vfx. Obviously jumped at the chance, but then realised I'd never done it before. So, i spray painted some deodorant cans and old...

Yeah, and it really helped. the film was languishing on around 200 views, 24 hours later it was up at around 2k. Still not loads, but hey.

Fissure featured in io9 article :)

Whats next? I guess me actually finishing something. I have 3 slightly dystopian short films in the works, but they are all quite lore heavy. They work as proof of concepts but I really want to make a short film that works on its own merit. :)

Fissure featured in io9 article :)

Hi chums, as some of you already know, I made a film called Fissure. Some of you very kindly chipped in to the crowdfunder. It got featured in this article https://io9.gizmodo.com/10-excellent-new-sci-fi-and-fantasy-shorts-you-need-to-1827912662 So very pleased. The article was then retweeted...

    Hi there :)

[May 21] What are you working on this week?

Black could work, although you are still going to get black reflected in the brass. With blue or green you would also need to do some roto work because that's just the way it is with shiny surfaces. You could do rear/front projection. That would be fun. This tut has some stuff in it. Some of...
