A ship for the background.

If anyone is interested, here's the full time lapse of me making that warship:

Done another draft of the script. Here’s a taste of a big warship that shows up. Modelled in Lightwave and chucked into After Effects and Element 3d. Needs more nurnies and lights.

New update: More details added inside the cockpit. Pipes and such. Also changed the grade and reduced the amount of glow as it look little too much i think.

Did some more work on the console. The NavMaster 800/s.

Hi All. Been away from this for a little while. Been writing a lot of music. Amazing how your attention shifts. Anyway, thought I'd share a little 'sizzle' test render of the ship. I've also been working on the controls in the cockpit. (Ignore the chair, thats just for reference).

The general feeling here has been to go with the cooler look. It does look far more natural.

Been developing the look of the 'Hyper-way'. Two versions so far... Made using element and Orb and heaps of fractal noise.

I'm hoping that by doing this it will force me to do it :) Glad you liked the first post! Its all down hill from here!

I know this is old buuuuut you should get a plugin for after effects called lockdown. https://aescripts.com/lockdown/

Depends on your screenplay. My last two shorts were stupidly full of vfx that i had to do by myself. Don't do vfx kids, not even once. Kidding, but if you can pay people, then all the better.

This really is inspiring stuff!
