Sorry it's taken me so long to reply - recovering from a kidney procedure which is loads of fun.... As to my work, I guess I really am of two minds; I do fun quirky stuff as well as somewhat darker introspective stuff. Both are me!

So glad you liked it - and thank you! As I said, it was so much fun to do. I hadn't watched it in years and I guess it stood up okay after all! The rat puppets are about 3 inches tall so it was tricky work making those gowns and wigs, lol. πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€

Oh, gee..thanks so much...as soon as you mentioned the "Dr. Kildare" theme it started playing in my head over and over and over...!πŸ˜€

That was amazing staging of the aria!!! Great singer AND actress. ...the rat version...I'm pretty embarrassed to post it as it's VERY primitive stop-mo and amateur singing, etc., but I made it for a lark and had a lot of fun doing it. SO if you can take all of that into account and still take...

Thank you so much for your kind words and for posting that again for me to read. I really enjoyed it; I connected with it as I've always had an interest in Bach's personal life and his children. Way back in my youth I wrote a piece of music called "Bachskinder" which was like an elegy for the...

I'd love to read your script - but do I need a Keep & Share account to do so? We're presently working our way through the Deutsche Grammophon New Complete Edition (all 222 CDs!); the only nitpick I have (and it's actually a big one) is modern performers' propensity to play things as fast as...

A little update on my current project, based on a 1922 short story by Polish author Stefan GrabiΕ„ski in a new translation by Wojciech Karkoszka. Ewan Laker-Mansfield (who did the sound design for "Epicycle") is on board for this project. Expecting it to be complete perhaps by Summer of 2025.....?

    The Lepidopterist

Thanks, Nate! I did delve into the Fusion page (as well as color and edit, etc.) and I can see that the possibilities there are vast. Thanks for the tip about gpu; I did have it selected, which is good because I think otherwise I could have knitted a whole sweater while stuff was rendering, lol.

    The Lepidopterist

Please take this video with a grain of salt. My real purpose in doing this was to learn how to use some of DaVinci Resolve Studio (coming from HitFilm), so it is what it is. I did learn a lot, though.:) The vintage look (and its slightly diffused look) are on purpose, lol. It's based on Doyle's...

Launching work on a short based on a Polish fantasy/horror/psychological short story from the 1920s. The translation into English has been done (the translator did an amazing job) and am beginning the long planning process. Excited about this one! (And no, I'm not Polish nor can I speak it; just...

I had shelved a treatment of "The Hound of the Baskervilles" a while ago as it just wasn't working for me. Dusted it off today and completely rewrote the treatment to focus on one character and their role in the unfolding events in Grimpen. It will be quite short (as usual), but is more in the...

Cool! I've used Mixcraft forever, too...I think I might even have started with the first version! I'm looking forward to using Fairlight, though. I'm just starting to get a vague idea of everything Resolve can do (right now I'm deep into the Fusion page and its nodes) but will jump into the...
