Quick, first impressions while reading:
* ...With a man's back facing the camera....Samuel's back in focus. The man with the back is the back of Samuel, the main protagonist. - Way too wordy and could be changed to be not so repititious or obvious (main protagonist is something the reader will...
THe Horde - 7.5/10 - a french film that reminded me if The Raid and 28 Days Later had a child. Was decent and kept my interest
The Kate Logan Affair - 210 - didnt finish this film, was pretty awful but I'm not going to lie - Alexis Bledel is gorgeous...
The Pruitt-Igoe Myth - 9/10 - wonderful...
I think they'll stay around - I'm sure people were asking the same thing when talkies came out and started to take people away from the local theater plays
Unless of course the you are a "nerd/geek/socially inept kid" and the hottest girl in school is digging you, then that is true - happens all the time in the movies
Eh, didn't really pique my interest too much. Reminds me of every other teenage slasher flick. Also, and I understand it is an adaptation but, use slug lines - makes it easier to read
Hobo with a Shotgun - 7.5/10 - pretty good B movie, had a couple funny lines
Dark Days - 8/10 - a very good documentary that, surprisingly, had a happy ending
Thankfully nothing like this happened

Young Adult - 7/10 - decent film, though it did lack in a scene that I thought was blatantly trying be a Todd Solondz scene. Great use of Teenage Fanclub though
I think that people like Spike Lee, Darren Aronofsky, the Cohen Brothers, and maybe to an extent Harmony Korine, are able to do what they want.
But then again, they aren't "Hollywood" type directors...
