I have a scene planned out for my upcoming short which involves quite a lot of flickering lights, is there anyway this can be done in post? Or is just easier and better looking if done on set? If so, how can this be done, is there a way the lights can be tweaked to be made to flicker? Do I need...

For a first time film, I'd have to say very well done! One of the most professional first shorts I've seen in fact. I'd have to agree with steve on the dialogue, it's a bit cyclical and kinda just goes round on itself, maybe at the end they could have gone out to find the man he paid to kill...

I've been looking about for them clamp lights for a while that knightly suggested, but as I am in the UK I am having trouble finding them, and dont fancy how to pay the huge VAT and import fee's of buying from the US, I've find some different variations of the portable ones i posted above...

Nice work, some very nice photography and interesting story, quite a soothing song too! One thing though, the colour seemed a bit off, i cant really pinpoint it, just seems a bit too bright maybe? But overall really nice :)

I'd have to agree with dandevans, shot very nice, good lighting etc. but was rather generic horror convetion, axe wielding maniac come to slay gorgeous woman. That said, you seem pretty talented in the horror genre as in able to maintain suspense and keep the audience interested.
