i had this the other day and all it was is that it just was a loose connection, even though it seemed connected properly just playing around with the connection fixed the problem. it was a 3.5mm extension cable too. might work!

i seen them filming trainspotting in edinburgh, didn't know what it was though till i saw at the cinema.

i look at this way, when i bought my camera i had never filmed or edited anything before. i wanted to be a filmmaker so i started making films, i had no idea what i was doing, especially when it came to sound. so my first short was a nightmare, second a little better, third one i really tried...

on star now, for london there is nearly 9'000 people listed under actors/extras, for my city there is 20 people listed lol and half of them are 'models' :/

i live in scotland, in a pretty smallish city, finding actors and scheduling shoots is the worst part for me, i'd do a short every month or two if i could find the people.

i'm using starnow for my next short, even though there's only like 20 people listed in my city on there i'm getting applicants from other places. the search function is pretty good although i wish people would realise being a model and being an actor are different things.

my first short i did the story and got someone to write a script for it. second was adapted from someones script. third, i just made some stuff up. fourth, i did the story and got someone to write dialogue. i can come up with stories easy enough but i suck at writing dialogue.

thx. still looking. i'm scheduling a shoot just now so i'll have another short under my belt by the time i do it.

first thing i done was a music vid, just got in touch with a local recording studio, might seem obvious but it's a good place to find bands lol. but after that i gave up on music vids as i found bands and musicians hard to deal with. bad communication etc.
