    Jane's Inferno

I don't mean to discourage anyone from applying to festivals. I definitely think you should. Especially to your local festival. The relationships I've made there have been invaluable to my amateur film career. But I've learned to be more strategic in applying. Best of luck!

    Jane's Inferno

Yes and no. I don’t mind supporting festivals with application fees, but after the tenth or so rejection it’s frustrating when you realize how much money you gave with nothing to show. The festivals I went to were awesome. Free food and drinks and movies are always worth it. Networking is just...

I've still not yet seen the show, but that is common comparison. I think it's the sixth or seventh one. I definitely need to watch it when I get some free time. Thanks for giving it a watch!

    Overexposed footage

Hi filmmakers, I recently shot some footage for my short film that I'm currently editing. It's pretty important to the story, so I'd like to salvage as much as possible. I shot it on a Canon C100 Mark II. Its owner was unavailable, so I was the one behind the camera for the day. I can't recall...
