you will find alot of used gera, and alot of new. Most of the new will be knockoffs, and some used could potentially be knockoffs as well. But sometimes knockoffs can end up works just as good.. or sometimes close. Sometimes they wont. research the seller before you commit to buying.
by murdered... i would probably mean the music. its... probably too slow. it took me a while to realize it was the lord of the rings song. With all that said aside, color was good. like we have been saying, just keep shooting and keep getting better.
being a big fan of lord of the rings, (and the reason why i got into film) i have to say you murdered lord of the rings. I see that most of these shots are handheld, you need to put it on a stabilizer to make your shots 10 times better. You had great locations, but your slowmotion at low frame...

Look at music videos and reference shots and styles that you like.
Meet up with band, and get both of your ideas together. and make sure they pull through, and you make sure you pull through with your ideas as well. I once had a client that was going to bring a piano...
What's wrong with youtube?
On peoples defense, it seems to me that he just didn't hear what he wanted to hear and began attacking all of us.
And in fairness to all, i'm not a big fan of photographers who jump into film just to get extra money. They put a shame into motion picture.
i used to go to Olivia Techs site every once in a while, to check out reviews of new equipment.
Today as i tried searching for her, i realized her site was down, and all her youtube videos and vimeo videos are gone. FOR EVER, It's like she disappeared from earth.. except for her portfolio...
It was not bad, but like jsthompson said, the plot had no point.
Shot very well, edited very well, audio was great, but no plot. its like having a book with beautiful pictures, beautiful cover, but just that.. an ok story.
