I didn't negate any advice? I asked a similar question with regards to microphones on a different thread. This is a different question entirely wondering about setup.
Hello all,
I was wondering if someone could help me out.
I am going to be doing an indie project and will be shooting film with my canon powershot s100.
The project does not need to have amazing video or audio quality and is not a money making project.
Our project is basically recording...
Yeah you bet bud,
As I said the quality doesn't have to be extraordinary just as long as it can be heard.
This isn't for any kind of income generating project. Just an indie project to learn from.
Okay, thanks man
Really appreciate it Knightly.
I'll try a lav and function test it to see what I can come up with.
Would this mic be a suitable choice? http://www.rodemic.com/mics/pinmic
Or should I try the http://www.rodemic.com/mics/lavalier
I really appreciate your opinion and effort bud...
Ugh this is such devastating news.
Here is a sample of basically what I am trying to achieve.
Do you have ant idea how this was accomplished?

I may have to switch ideas and subtitle it. Or dub it.
Is there any mics that you would recommend that have features that may help my cause?
Not all situations will be like this as we will be trying to capture footage in restaurants and out on the street as well.
The club setting will be the...
No bud, I'm afraid it won't work.
Basically she is not aware that the conversation is being recorded and it must remain that way.
The goal is to record a genuine reaction from a guy approaching a girl at a bar from the guy's perspective.
The hope is to also be able to capture her response...
I only have the option of putting the mic on one subject.
Just the guy.
He basically will be walking up to a woman in the club and opening a conversation with her.
I am sure we will be able to record him, But I would love to be able to record the woman's reaction too.
Thanks again
Adam
No its not scripted.
Basically what it is recording guys going up and opening conversations with women in a bar setting.
The guy will have a mic but the girl will not.
And yes consent and everything like that for filming and recording audio will be given etc.
Ahh okay, ty very much.
So I am assuming that you won't be able to capture a conversation between two people with one lavalier and zoom h1.
This was what I was afraid of:(
