    video Car window footage

@Nate North gave great advice. i think most people shoot their own footage. Grab a friend with a truck and shoot it your self. If you shot the scene with a 35mm then grab the footage with a 28mm. It really isn't difficult unless you live somewhere that has become illegal for people to sit in the...

    The Pact | Short Film

Ray, thanks for watching and replying. I agree with everything you said. Unfortunately, I was pretty much completely alone behind the camera. This short, and two others I directed, were a part of an acting class to help showcase their growth and talent. We also failed to acquire our original...

    The Pact | Short Film

A group of friends, not wanting to expose their secrets, face questions from a detective about the disappearance of another friend. Written by Nicole Keith as a part of her Divine Legacy Conservatory advanced acting class. This short film serves as a conceptual piece for a much larger project...

watch Indie of the Month May/June/July - Quarantine Film Challenge

I ran into a few issues. My son did not want to sleep and had the innate ability to wake up the moment everything would be setup. Now, due to Covid-19, I am living with my in-laws. Only just now set up my computer to post on here (I hate posting from my phone, don't know why, just don't). At...

critique Looking for some feedback - first 10 pages of my screenplay

Does the work around for Celtx still work? Once they limited you to 3 scripts, you could just get around it by starting scripts on their phone app and then continue on your computer. I did this last week and it still worked for me.

watch Indie of the Month May/June/July - Quarantine Film Challenge

Just did a quick test for a couple of shots. Things look good. Hopefully, I can shoot tomorrow night without waking the wife or kids (especially the baby).

That perfectly answers my question. Thanks.

watch Conjuror - Horror Short Film (Feedback Wanted!)

I enjoyed this overall. The image was a little too dark at times and the sound a bit too quiet in places.

Also, congrats to @maximum on winning. It was a fun little short. I had actually found it on youtube by following a rabbit trail of those Film Riot contest videos.

watch Indie of the Month April - Social Distance Film Challenge

@sfoster I can tell you I watched it not long after you originally posted it. I tried to watch them as they came in. When did you fix the video? And once you did fix it, I imagine you completely removed the original, which would have deleted the stats, right? Side question for these contests. I...

    Tales from the Script

Just finished watching this. I don't know if I learned anything particular, but some wanted everyone to know that a movie being bad wasn't their fault at all.

    critique Short Script Feedback

I would say the ending is underwhelming and doesn't feel like it plays well with the setup. I think you are attempting to give us a false sadness over him not being able to get the job. Are we meant to worry more about him getting the job or about him stepping up as a father?

Lockdown Film - Sci Fi short

I really enjoy the warmer look. It just may be a bit too warm and so we lose the ship's color. The cooler version feels normal.
