An older IMac may be a good option! Macs are inherently more expensive. I would try and get the 27 inch Imac 5k if you can. The older Mac-minis might not do so good.
I didn't recommend an apple computer since you are currently using an inspiron, but you can find some good deals for a used Imac...
Dude! This looks amazing and actually really funny. I subbed to you guys on YouTube.
Thanks for sharing your insight.
I hear that most composers hate temp music... but I think it gives the editors something to really latch onto.
Hey everyone! I just thought I'd share this little explosions pack I made. This consists of 5 long, and 5 short explosions with a little bit of a Sci-fi feel to them.
Enjoy!

Where do you guys generally get music for your projects?
Do you hire a composer? Do you have a favorite royalty free website?
I'm a music producer looking to get into scoring and film audio and I'm curious what you guys do.
I would not go for a macbook air for anything other than basic browsing.
If you're comfortable with building, you can put together a solid desktop for under 1k.
Laptops are never very efficient unless you REALLY need the portability.
Hi, everyone! I'm a freelance video creator and editor, but I do mostly film scores and sound design.
I love films, and the audio side of film is just so attractive and fun for me.
I'm excited to get to know all of you. and maybe collaborate on some projects.
