That's it! I want credit in every script I've given feedback on on Indietalk! My IMDB will be MASSIVE!
Oh darn, most of them didn't get produced. There goes my evil plan. :(
Bored, no. I'm in agony over how it was supposed to look in the script and what came out in the footage. You never really get what you put on paper. Sometimes it comes out better than written because the performers add to the material. But often it's not. Every little flaw is painful even if...
One thing I learned is try not to give "walk on" roles a long bit of dialog to say. The smaller roles tend to take the project less serious so they haven't studied the script very well. So if you the professor of parapsychology come in for one quick scene to explain the inner working of the...
I heard of them before. Sites got a bunch of traffic must be somewhat established.

If they are not asking you for a bunch of money to use the site, you probably don't have much to lose.
I understand. In the future, if you have to push the date back on shooting for casting (if possible of course) do it. There's nothing worse then listening to bad acting on the footage you've shot and knowing you can't re-shoot without great expense.
In my opinion Justin, If you're in a big city like Chicago 20 actors for 2 roles is WAY too little. One out of every 10 actors can act at ALL. So you will have probably 2 decent actors out of 20. That doesn't leave you much choice. I would aim for 25-100 actor submissions per role. I know that...
I think a "presale" is like ANY sale - there's no cookie cutter answer. However, there are HARD sales and easier sales. Anyone have experience pre-selling a film here?
Actually, I must apologize to the Airsoft Corp. I used an Airsoft silencer (supressor) with the Colt 1911 replica. It worked perfectly. (the scenes were darkly lit though) so I shouldn't dis Airsoft. ;)
I prefer replica firearms over Airsoft because the models are real. I used a replica Colt 1911 semi auto pistol. Looks 100% real. You can even load an ammo clip. Non-firing replicas are safe unless you drop them on your foot. ;)
