New here..excited about talking about indie film!

Just got finished with the 35mm feature film "Sensation of Sight". What an experience...over 3 weeks I was there working my ass off. After the first day I got to work in the camera dept. and it was awesome. I did all the video villiage work...technically called "VTR Operator". I also...

watch Dead in the Water Teaser

Hey cool, it's actually something I'd want to check out. Not a lot of indie trailers pull you in enough to make you want to see the film. Where did you shoot it? Looks like my backyard here in New Hampshire! EDIT: Looks like Chicago area?

New here..excited about talking about indie film!

I've worked in television and video production for 12 years, but this is my first feature film. I've done feature film acting work (extra), but nothing production wise. It's going to be awesome. I'm suppose to PA, but right now it's 2 PA's and their looking for a 3rd. If they don't get one...

New here..excited about talking about indie film!

Hey guys, I got some great news! Yesterday, while at a New Hampshire Film festival I worked my way onto a major feature film! I'll be on set for 3 weeks on a new major budget film called, "Sensation of Sight". It stars David Strathairn from the new film "Good Night, and Good Luck". It's...

    iPod Video

My thoughts are this is a good thing. Anything that wakes up the monster (Hollywood machine) is good. http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory?id=1214752

tv Oh No!!! MTV aquires IFILM!

video iPods and indie films What would be really awesome? Apple making an "Indie Film" channel for their new iPod's. They just released the newest version, but can you imagine 2-3 versions down the line? They'll have 16x9 widecreens (albeit 3 inches long) - and will probably hold tons of...

As anyone got anything on the 'Internet Movie Database'?

It's a pain, but you can get your credits on there. You have to go through their submission process...it's all laid out on the site. It can take months to get it updated, but eventually it does. Here is mine...I still need to update it with my own indie stuff. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1524331/

tv Oh No!!! MTV aquires IFILM!

Maybe they haven't made any management changes yet? This can't be a good thing for IFILM - MTV doesn't give a damn about indie music. They won't care about indie film either. I bet they'll do deals to just show Hollywood trailers....boring. Who knows, maybe they will surprise us?

tv Oh No!!! MTV aquires IFILM!

I pray they don't do to film what they did to music - the 80's and 90's were way to influenced by MTV!! Music has only recently started to recover from MTV! http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051014...nm/media_mtv_dc They will probably turn IFILM into a home shopping network...or stupid online game...
