    Documentary-on-the-run equipment?

Hello folks. I will be returning home overseas shortly, to attend to an important, but saddening family matter. Only yesterday, it occurred to me that with this situation I may have a chance for footage for a possible documentary. I have had no chance to do any preparation on this during the...

    resources/books on short film/s?

[I have checked the archives in this forum, and the recommended books deal mainly with features] I am currently working on some short film scripts, and have sought to do some reading on the making of short films, and the writing of short film screenplays. So, I wish to ask my fellow members...

    arranging(&shooting)shorts back-to-back?

Hello again all. I have been looking at my film script notes, which I have categorised into shorts & features. Time permitting, what I would like to do is to simultaneously develop the 3 shorts (approx. 10 mns each) into well written items, and then try and go film them with the help of my...

Is there a program for creating story boards?

Pay/no pay and asking for help

My comments above were in relation to a specific context. Whereas I think most here are undertaking this as strictly film, my own situation was in relation to a collaboration with an artist from another field entirely.

Pay/no pay and asking for help

I would like to add my own reflections on this, as someone who has worked on around 8 projects, and is now trying to get his own, first, small project together. I think that even if you have established good connections or relations with those whom you would like to work with, and whom you have...

Data for DVD and Ancillary Markets.

This is just part of the low down on getting your indie film made!! Whoa--you don't go into this endeavor with your eyes shut, or never having done your homework!!!

Is there a program for creating story boards?

If you have someone like a volunteer set designer who comes from a drawing/fine arts background, then I think having them utilise this type of software will save time. Excuse my ignorance, but in the 'old days', wasn't this function usually handled by someone who specifically undertook this work??

    Screenwriter: Michele K

It is a display/marketing site only. You have to actually write to her and ask her to email/send you a sample of her work.

Question for fellow Sunfrog Scheduling users

Calling filmscheduling I am conducting research into film project management/production management software, and have been seriously looking at sunfrog. I wish to send some questions to the proprietor, or whomever is able to answer my questions. However, it appears that filmscheduling, the IT...

Data for DVD and Ancillary Markets.

Use a professional researcher This type of question is rather specific and detailed. If you want such answers, then I really recommend that, if you are willing to spend some money, you will get what you want from an experienced, professional researcher. I would recommend calling someone from...
