Life long dream to be a film maker

Even if it is a troll. It is a serious problem.
Suppose one were to get together a bunch of people with a similar to Dream to make a similar film, do you think we could come to terms on what kind of film could be made, and perhaps Kickstarter it together.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
