Quick question on sound editors

This isn't directly film-related, but I had a question regarding the spectral frequency display inside Soundbooth. As I understand it, if I see a solid horizontal line that indicates a single pitch. What I would like to do is select part of the spectrum (one of the lines) and find out exactly what pitch/frequency that is (or the range of frequencies that I selected).

It seems like that would be a simple thing to do, but I haven't found a way to do it in Soundbooth. Would other audio-editing softwares be able to do something like this (I have Audacity, LMMS, and a trial of FL Studio)?

Thanks a bunch!
