Ah, you do read my posts. ;)

A general note for others: Michael Hauge does not mean for the percentages to be interpreted literally. For a 120 page script, most introductions and set-up will happen between pages 10-20; it doesn't have to be done by page 12 (10%). If you actually sit down with a movie, you'll find the percentages are often close. As I mentioned in another thread, by page 100, the story should be in its final descent (Stage V: The Final Push).

This is not meant to be a formula but a generic description of story development. It certainly isn't specific to a genre (horror, comedy, romance, etc.). It makes a convenient backbone for laying out the movie. I am forwarding two short clips that I think highlight these points. Good Writing!
