Trying to decide whether to go with the Flycam or Glidecam. Does anyone own either one of these? What are your thoughts?

Flycam or Glidecam

Maybe I'm missing something, but are you sure you mean Flycam?
I think Flycam are an Indian company, I've seen some of their stuff on eBay.
I was thinking of the stadium/cable system Flycam. I didn't know there was another company or maybe it's the same one? My apologies to the OP.
I had a quick Google and there are at least two companies making camera support gear under the name of Flycam… could be either of 'em!
