how can i host my own website or find a host that wont take my rights away from me. im trying to own everythang and i dont want somebody else hosting my show and they get the big bucks and rights to do whatever with my show.
im still reasearching. on another site they said it would cost like 30k and a extra 6k a month if i wanted to stream video live. it real crazy. im going to go out my mind if i cant figure this out.
Hostgator has hosting for websites you would need to program a website though. The other option is to install a word press blog on your own domain using host gator as a host. Then upload your videos to your host. Depending on how much your video was played would determine how much you would need in terms of capabilites for transfers in your hosting.
How about a blogger website and using youtube to host the videos that is the free option. So blogger.com or wordpress.com could be options. Then upload videos to what ever host you want to store them to. Then link them to your blog to play.
If you need serious file transfers then I hear Amazon S3 is good for hosting video sites like a mini youtube type site.
